An organisation is your company workspace in Specsight. Every project, member, scenario, and report lives inside one organisation. You can belong to several — a contractor working with two clients, for example — and switch between them at any time.
Only Admins can rename, change the URL, or delete an organisation. See members and roles for the full role breakdown.
Where to find things
The organisation rail on the left of every dashboard page shows the destinations your role can reach, plus Settings at the bottom for Admins:
- Home — the project list and overview, visible to everyone
- People — members, roles, invitations, Admins only (see members and roles)
- Billing — plan and invoices, Admins only (see plans and limits)
- Integrations — GitHub connection, Admins and Developers (see connect GitHub)
- Settings — organisation name, URL slug, and delete, Admins only
Rename or change the URL slug
Open Settings from the rail. The General section has two fields:
- Organisation name — shown in the top bar, emails, and share links
- Slug — the URL fragment under specsight.app
Slugs must be lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens, and unique across Specsight. Click Save changes to apply.
Switch between organisations
The organisation name in the top bar opens a switcher. Pick another organisation to jump to its dashboard, or click + New organisation to create one — the link re-enters first-run setup so the new organisation goes through the same wizard. Each organisation has its own projects, members, and billing.
Delete an organisation
Open Settings, scroll to Delete organisation, and click the button. Confirm the prompt to delete. If the organisation is on a paid plan, cancel the subscription from billing first to avoid further charges.
When you delete the only organisation you belong to, Specsight sends you back to onboarding to create a new one.
