Every project exports to three formats. Pick the one that matches the audience — a stakeholder PDF, a spreadsheet for analysis, or Markdown for Notion, Linear, or an AI pipeline.
Export the whole spec
Open a project's Spec page, then click Export spec at the foot of the feature sidebar. The Export scenarios modal opens with three options — PDF, Excel, Markdown. Pick one and the download starts as soon as the file is ready.
Export one feature
Open any feature page, click the ⋯ actions menu in the header, and pick Export scenarios. Same three formats — the file contains the feature, its sub-features, and every scenario underneath.
What each format contains
- PDF — branded cover, contents page, and every scenario grouped by feature and category. Best for sharing with stakeholders
- Excel — four sheets: a summary, a flat sortable scenarios table, a features table, and a nested tree view. Best for analysis
- Markdown — plain text with a table of contents and one section per feature. Best for Notion, Linear, or feeding into an AI pipeline
Files download as <project-name>-spec-YYYY-MM-DD with the format extension — for example, Dashboard-spec-2026-05-15.pdf. Anyone in the organisation can export the whole spec from the Spec page. Feature-level export needs an Admin, Developer, or Editor role. Every plan includes exports.
Change reports and share links
Change reports have their own Download PDF button on the report page, plus a Share link that grants read-only access to anyone with the URL — no account needed. See change reports for the full flow.
