Account settings are personal and apply across every organisation you belong to. Open them from your avatar in the top bar → Account settings. The left sub-nav has four pages: Profile, Notifications, Security, Feedback.
Profile
Full name is the only editable field. It shows on your annotations, changelog entries, and as the report author. Edit it and click Save changes.
Your email and avatar are shown but not editable here. Avatars come from Google if you signed in with Google, otherwise initials.
Notifications
Four switches under Email notifications control what reaches your inbox. All are on by default. Changes save automatically. The in-app notification bell shows every event regardless.
- Analysis complete — when Specsight finishes analysing a project
- Sync complete — when Specsight updates a spec after a code change
- Report ready — when a change report finishes generating
- Mentions — when a member mentions you in an annotation
Password
Under Security → Password, enter your current password, a new one, and confirm. New passwords need 8+ characters with an uppercase, a lowercase, and a number. Click Update password. Forgot it? See reset your password.
Connected accounts
The Connected accounts section shows whether Google is linked. Click Connect to link it so you can sign in with Google in future. Once linked, the row shows Connected.
Send feedback
The Feedback button in the top bar opens a popover for sending feedback to Specsight. Pick a category — Bug, Feature, Question, or Other — write a message, and attach up to four PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF screenshots (5 MB each) if it helps. Click Send to submit.
Open the Feedback page in the sub-nav to see everything you have submitted across every organisation, along with the current status (Submitted, Acknowledged, Planned, In progress, Done, Won't do) and any response from Specsight.
Delete account
At the bottom of Security, click Delete account and confirm. You are signed out and your access to every organisation is removed.
